Breslin Builders is progressing with the new studio installation work at the existing Art Institute of Las Vegas. The new recording studio is being constructed within an existing classroom.

Continuing with the remodel work Breslin Builders had previously completed at the Lotus of Siam Flamingo location, work on the new climatized wine room is progressing with the wall framing taking place. The work will provide a new climatized room to enclose the existing wine racks already in place. A new mechanical system is being provided to allow the space to be conditioned to the proper temperatures needed for the wine being stored.

The new Lotus of Siam at 620 E. Flamingo, a remodel that Breslin Builders has recently completed for the restaurant, has opened. We are excited to provide our design-build services at their new location.

In addition to the full remodel work, we will also be completing an additional climate controlled wine room in the private dining room. We will also be starting the design and construction services on their previous location at Commercial Center on Sahara Avenue to renovate and restore it for operations again.

Breslin Builders is pleased to have been able to provide design and construction services for Lotus of Siam’s new location at 620 E Flamingo Road. Breslin Builders is currently working on the remodel of the existing Roy’s at 620 E Flamingo for another location for the Lotus of Siam restaurant. This location will be in addition to their prior location on East Sahara, which Breslin Builders will be remodeling after this location is completed.
Working with the owners, we are closing in the existing open kitchen with new walls and server doors, updating the bar area with new equipment, new paint, finishes, carpeting, and other similar items throughout. Additionally, we will be providing a new wine room in the private dining area to house their extensive wine collection. In addition to the interior remodel work we are also providing some exterior updates and repairs also.

Breslin Builders has started the tenant improvement construction efforts for a new Domino’s Pizza at the existing shopping center at the northeast corner of West Sahara and South Decatur. The space converts two vacant tenant spaces into one Domino’s Pizza establishment. To date demolition work and underground plumbing installations have been completed. Look for this new location to open in Spring 2017.
Breslin Builders is providing the first part of an extensive remodel at the Oquendo Center (also known as the Western Veterinarian Conference Center). This remodel updates and expands the veterinarian teaching and clinic areas within the existing facilities, expanding needed kennel space, vet teaching areas, and other support facilities.
As with many remodels, the facility remains operational during our construction efforts and we are working in concert with the facility to ensure compatibility with their operations.
This makes the second project we have completed in 2016 for OC and WVC (the first was an addition of a full size autoclave machine) since we originally built the facility almost a decade ago.

Breslin Builders has completed the remodel for the new Freedom Beat Restaurant and Bar at Downtown Grand Hotel and Casino in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada (we also previously provided the remodel and renovation work for the hotel and casino).

“The Pool at the Plaza” is finally open and we have some pre-opening photos of the 70,000 square foot transformation into a modern with a vintage Palm Springs twist. Completed by Breslin Builders as a design-build project, working daily with the property to ensure their needs are met, we delivered an updated and renovated pool deck area that will last the Plaza Hotel and Casino for decades to come.
The project included a complete renovation of their roof top deck area, a new swimming pool, adding a 12 person spa, new cabanas, new patio areas with room access, updated tennis and Pickleball courts, new bar area, new outdoor gaming area, new shade structures, a full size food truck, and open areas for lounging, gathering, and events including a place and connections for a stage set up.

After months of planning, designing, and construction, Breslin Builders has substantially completed the design-build pool renovation and upgrade project for The Plaza Hotel and Casino in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada.

The pool officially opens on July 2nd. In the mean time, Breslin Builders will put the finishing touches on this multi-million dollar project. We have taking some photos of our own and will upload them once they are prepared.

The Plaza’s pool deck renovation project is progressing. Check out the rendering based on the owner’s concept and the design-build work Breslin Builders is providing for the project. Working closely with the property’s management, Breslin Builders is providing both design and construction services for the pool deck renovation. Permits have been issued and the work is well under way. Look for an official opening the beginning of summer time.

Breslin Builders is providing continued design and construction services for the WVC Oquendo Center facility, located on Eastern and Oquendo in Las Vegas, Nevada, by providing the needed building modifications and additions for a new full size walk through autoclave installation. The autoclave will allow for faster and more efficient cleaning on the various equipment, tools, and other items used during their veterinarian and medical education classed provided at the world class facility. Breslin Builders assisted with the initial design and provided construction services for the facility.
Working with Getinge for the autoclave machine, Breslin Builders provided the needed documentation for permits from Clark County Building Department. A new recessed pit, additional mechanical, plumbing, and electrical services to the machine, as well as a new prep sink and cleaning area are being provided within the existing facility. Working closely with the facility managers, we are able to provide the services needed while the facility stays operational, which generally includes a new continuing education seminar each week.

The Redwood Warehouse project is nearing completion and gearing up for the owner to install their equipment and fixtures to start working the MME cultivation facility. Breslin Builders provided design-build services for the project, converting an existing metal building vehicle storage and maintenance facility into a new MME cultivation facility.

Work on the modernization and upgrades to The Plaza Hotel and Casino Pool Deck are well underway. Breslin Builders is providing design-build services for the project. Currently we are working on removing the existing concrete topping slabs, removing the old bar structures, the pool, and other items in preparation for the new and modernization work. Additionally we are adjusting and fixing a few structural items to ensure the life of the deck area continues for well into the future. Modernized and ADA accessible restrooms, bar, and a new pool are part of the project scope also.
In addition to the selective demolition work, Breslin Builders is working to obtain the needed City of Las Vegas renovation building permits for the balance of the work. Given the age and uniqueness of the project, we are blending the new 2012 IBC code requirements with the original 1967 UBC requirements to come to an acceptable solution, ensuring both safety and sensibility are achieved. The original pool portion of the structure was constructed in 1981. Look for a summer 2016 opening.

The mechanical, plumbing, and electrical system rough-in installations are taking shape at the Redwood Warehouse MME project in the southwest part of the Las Vegas valley. In addition, the interior and exterior CMU working is taking place also.

As the project nears completion and the owner starts to add the finishing touches of tables, art work, signage, and other items for their opening, Breslin Builders is completing our last items to complete the project. Final inspections have been received and now the owner is working on getting things ready for their opening, anticipated for later this month.

Breslin Builders has been contracted to provide design-build remodel and upgrade services for the renovated pool deck area at The Plaza Hotel & Casino. Anticipated to open for the 2016 Summer pool season, Breslin Builders is working closely with The Plaza to provide a unique venue fitting for The Plaza, while keeping budgets and costs in check. Breslin Builders will be providing both design and construction services for the project.

The design-build restaurant remodel project, Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles, located at Rainbow and Lake Mead at the Best In The West shopping center is nearing completion with an anticipated January 2016 opening.
This project is a remodel of an existing Tony Roma’s restaurant and conversion to a new Lo-Lo’s location, the first in Nevada. In addition to new finishes and decor to match the Lo-Lo’s style and the remodel to incorporate an outdoor dining area, we also provided full kitchen upgrades, upgrades to the electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, as well as ADA upgrades for the restaurant.

The permits for the Redwood Warehouse project have been issued and the work at the site is starting to take shape. This is one of Breslin Builder’s numerous medical marijuana cultivation facility projects we are current working on.
This project consists of the conversion of an existing 20,000 square foot warehouse into a cultivation facility, with Phase I being constructed now and a future Phase II to finish out the grow rooms as needed.
As with the others, this one is a design-build project we have provided design services for and are now providing construction services on. This project is set to finish in April 2016. Progress photos area below:
