After almost two years of design and construction, the Downtown Container Park held its soft opening on Monday, November 25, 2013 at 1:00pm.  100’s of people waited outside the main entrance gates at 707 Fremont to explore the unique shopping, food and beverage, and entertainment venue that Breslin Builders was not only general contractor on the project, but also the lead design progressional lead by Todd McBrayer, LEED AP, working as a true team effort to complete this full design-build project.

Breslin Builders is excited to complete this project and see the many uses, shops, food and beverage venues in action to provide a cool and unique setting like no other in the world.  The Container Park includes some firsts including the first 40 foot shipping container set vertical with a standard elevator system installed, first interactive zone using various vertical containers for play areas including one for various slides, as well as many other unique items.  This park has set the standard for future “container” projects in the world.  There is nothing like what has been done at the corner of Fremont Street and 7th Street.  Breslin Builders is proud to be involved with this project from the start and looks forward to a strong future for the Downtown Container Park.
