Walgreens on Las Vegas Boulevard finishing up…

Breslin Builders is putting the finishing touches on an existing Walgreens remodel that included both interior and exterior changes and updates.  Working closely with Walgreens Corp. personnel, we provided both design and construction services for this project.

The exterior facade was updated with new materials and add-ons to completely change the look and have it fit in better with it’s neighbors, namely CityCenter just across the street.  A mixture of metal wall panels, tile, and a Kalwall wall panel system was used to transform the project from a 1990’s painted stucco project to 2011 modern Las Vegas Strip project.  The Kalwall system is back lit at night providing a nice sign silhouetting to Walgreens script.

The interior layout was completely changed and has been updated to Walgreens’ newest design standards, with specific layouts and items for the location on The Strip.  This location is one of their two busiest locations (the other also on The Strip) so we had to schedule the work accordingly to make sure this 24 hour store could remain open while getting the needed work completed.  By phasing the store into sections and working many nights, we were able to accomplish this goal and provide a smooth running project and a fresh new interior.
