Breslin Builders has been awarded the contract to building the newest All Storage facility in the Las Vegas area. Located on Volunteer Boulevard in close proximity to the Henderson Executive Terminal, this project will transform raw desert into a new multi-building gated storage facility. We are currently waiting for final building permits to be issued from the City of Henderson and will start construction as soon as the permits are issued.
Breslin Builder is getting things in place for the start of the demolition work of the existing office building at the Oquendo Center at the corner of Eastern and Oquendo in Las Vegas, Nevada. The unused and outdated building, Western Veterinarian Center’s original building prior to their current facility was built, will be demolished to make way for a new two-story 30,000 square foot office building. The new office space will allow the current space in the current Oquendo Center to be converted to more convention and teaching space. Demolition is slated by the end of the month with new construction starting in August 2017.
Breslin Builders is providing design-build services for a new 32,000 square foot office/warehouse project located in the southwest part of the Las Vegas valley. Located at the end of Sobb Avenue west of Rainbow Boulevard (between Patrick and Post), the project will be a three tenant building with associated warehouse spaces.
Anticipated to be constructed of tilt-up concrete walls with a hybrid roof framing system (wood and metal), the project will build on the decades of experience Breslin Builders has on this type of project and construction.
In addition to the building, the site will have multiple recessed docks, parking, truck access, and a large trash enclosure.
Initial design work has begun, with our next step to including coordination of the land-use approvals with Clark County. We anticipate a Fall 2018 delivery.
Breslin Builders has made a lot progress on the St. Rose Coronado Center over the past few months. The project is located in Henderson, Nevada on St.Rose Parkway (south of the 215 freeway). The project consists of a 3-story office building (tilt-up and metal frame construction) and two wood framed in-line retail buildings.
Currently we are finishing up the retail shell spaces, progressing the office shell space, and starting multiple interior office tenant improvement spaces on the main level. Site work will start soon with a Fall 2017 completion date anticipated.
Breslin Builders has been contracted to provide design-build services for a new 45,000 square foot entertainment complex consisting of meeting rooms, kitchen, outdoor venue, fitness center, and flexible eSports facility, to be constructed in the ground level of the existing old Binion’s parking garage on the east side of Casino Center between Ogden and Stewart. This facility will expand the Downtown Grand’s offering and abilities for meeting space, entertainment facilities, as well as a fitness center. A climbing wall is proposed as part of the outdoor venue.
We are currently finalizing the permit and construction drawings for approval by the City of Las Vegas. In June the City of Las Vegas Planning Commission cleared the way for the project by approving the needed waivers and special use permits.
Breslin Builders is providing both design and construction services on this project. The project is slated to open to the public second quarter 2018.
Breslin Builders will be providing construction services for Oquendo Center’s (Western Veterinarian Conference) new expansion to add more convention, lecture, and meeting space to their existing facility. Prior to construction services, we have been working with SH Architecture and the owner providing design-assist pre-construction services.
The first steps in the expansion includes the construction of a new approximately 30,000 square foot office building, which replace their existing unused original office building on the northwest corner of their property (Eastern and Oquendo). Additionally, we will be constructing a new free standing “barn” to replace the existing one being removed as part of the expansion work.
The new expansion work will require changes to some of the original work we previously completed including the demolition of their existing large animal barn, moving their offices to the new building, site changes, and other adjustments.
Demolition work is slated to start by August 1st with overall work anticipated to be completed by April 2019. More updates and renderings will follow as the project progresses.
Building upon the prior work completed at the Shadow Hills Baptist Church facility over the past two decades, Breslin Builders has been awarded the newest project being constructed, that being their new Student Center.
The project is slated to start in the next 30 days and will contain almost 31,000 square feet of various youth classroom spaces, youth worship rooms, and a large multi-purpose room for various functions.
The project is located at the existing Shadow Hills Baptist Church property on Vegas Drive.
SH Architecture is the architect of record on the project.
Work on the new 657 unit, 88,500+ square foot Dollar Self Storage facility in North Las Vegas is progressing with the framing on the storage units currently in progress. The front office building is being closed in with gypsum board being installed on the inside also.
This is another of the many mini-storage projects Breslin Builders has constructed over the three decades we have been in business. The facility is scheduled to be opened Fall 2017.
Work on the 9,845 square foot retail expansion at the Southwest Marketplace retail center, located at 8050 South Rainbow Avenue in Las Vegas, Nevada, is progressing with framing completed and rough electrical, plumbing, and mechanical installation taking place. The project will expand the existing retail center, anchored by a Smith’s grocery store. The project is anticipated to be completed for tenant occupancy this fall.

The courts replaced traditional tennis courts (all but one) and allowed for The Plaza to have numerous courts for their tournament, as well as everyday use. The roof top deck area originally has two full size tennis courts, a basketball court, and a hard surfaced volleyball court. Breslin Builders cleaned the existing surfaces, fixed the numerous cracks in the deck area, rewaterproofed the area, and provided a new court surface and specific markings for each area.
We’ve updated our project page for our Medical related projects to include a few of the various medical marijuana cultivation and dispensary projects we have completed. We have a couple more we are current working on now also to add at a later date.
Breslin Builders has started the tenant improvement construction efforts for a new Domino’s Pizza at the existing shopping center at the northeast corner of West Sahara and South Decatur. The space converts two vacant tenant spaces into one Domino’s Pizza establishment. To date demolition work and underground plumbing installations have been completed. Look for this new location to open in Spring 2017.
Breslin Builders has recently completed the Kemp Retail Center on Cactus in southwest part of Las Vegas, Nevada. The inline retail center includes a free standing restaurant drive-thru pad shell building also. Other items included as part of the project include full half-street improvements on Cactus, a pump house for the required fire pump (due to low water pressure in the developing area), and full site improvements.
Breslin Builders is providing the first part of an extensive remodel at the Oquendo Center (also known as the Western Veterinarian Conference Center). This remodel updates and expands the veterinarian teaching and clinic areas within the existing facilities, expanding needed kennel space, vet teaching areas, and other support facilities.
As with many remodels, the facility remains operational during our construction efforts and we are working in concert with the facility to ensure compatibility with their operations.
This makes the second project we have completed in 2016 for OC and WVC (the first was an addition of a full size autoclave machine) since we originally built the facility almost a decade ago.

Breslin Builder’s work on the new office and retail center at St. Rose and Coronado in Henderson, Nevada is progressing with underground plumbing and concrete foundations being placed. The project consists of multiple buildings including a three story tilt-up office building and two single story inline retail buildings, along with a fast food pad.
Breslin Builders has started the remodel work for a new restaurant and bar venue at the Downtown Grand Hotel and Casino (which we completed the original remodel and conversion of the property from the old Lady Luck Hotel and Casino to the new Downtown Grand Hotel and Casino). The new venue is called Freedom Beat and will replace the original venue called S+O (Stewart + Ogden), as well as the adjacent red room. Work is currently progressing with the final build out anticipated towards the middle to end of September.
